The Government of Canada has issued the following advisory:

“Avoid non-essential travel to Cuba due to worsening shortages of fuel, electricity, and basic necessities including food, water, and medicine, which can also affect resorts. Fuel availability has decreased, is difficult to predict, and may disrupt ground transportation.

As a result, all Canadian airlines have suspended service to Cuba for upcoming trips. Canadian airlines will facilitate the return of their clients currently in Cuba and are reaching out directly to them. Confirm your return flight details and avoid extending your stay in Cuba.”

Our thoughts are with the Cuban people during this difficult period. We sincerely hope a sustainable solution can be found so Cubans can safely and reliably access the essentials they need to live their daily lives.
