π Exciting Points Announcement & Dive into Las Vegas Deals! π²

Hey High Rollers! π The Canadian Jetsetter here, with a special announcement on points content below! Also, from now on, I'll be bringing you a curated Vegas flight and hotel deal roundup once a month (this newsletter will cover the best deals you can book right now)! Ready to immerse yourself in the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas without gambling away your savings? π²

Both WestJet and Air Canada, often offer discounted bundles if you book a flight and hotel together. By doing this we're ensuring your Vegas experience starts on a winning note. π
A Heartfelt Thank You π
First and foremost, a massive thank you to each and every one of you for being a part of this journey. The growth of this newsletter over the past few months has been nothing short of astonishing, and it's all thanks to you.
Behind the Scenes π οΈ
As our community has expanded, so have the operational costs. The email software, the countless hours spent curating the best deals β it's all a labor of love. But, as much as I adore doing this, it's becoming increasingly challenging to sustain it without some form of compensation.
Collaboration Opportunities π€
If you're affiliated with a brand or know someone who is, I'd be thrilled to discuss potential email sponsorship opportunities. I promise you this: I will only partner with brands that align with our values and genuinely enhance the reader experience.
Introducing: The Jetsetter Premium Points Section π
I'm excited to announce the launch of a new paid section dedicated to the world of points! Here, we'll delve deep into strategies for maximizing your Amex Membership Rewards and Aeroplan points (with expansion into more programs if I can make writing this newsletter sustainable). Each newsletter will spotlight bookable flights, offering you tangible ways to make the most of your points. The reason for introducing this as a paid feature? Many of these deals have limited seat availability (sometimes as little as 1-2 seats), and it's essential to ensure that those truly interested and invested get first dibs. Plus, it's a step towards making this venture sustainable. As a bonus, subscribers to this premium section will enjoy an ad-free and referral link-free experience. Think of it as a Patreon, but with the added perk of mastering the art of point redemption.
A Special Offer for Our Early Birds π¦
To show my gratitude for your continued support and enthusiasm, I'm offering a special 40% discount on annual subscriptions to the Jetsetter Premium points content for the first week. It's my way of saying thanks for being with me from the start.
And that's not all! Scroll down, and you'll find the first article from the Premium section included in this newsletter, absolutely free. Consider it a sneak peek into the kind of valuable content you can expect as a Premium subscriber.

πVegas Pre-Departure Announcement
I used tripcentral.ca to link to all these deals. I have never personally used them to book travel. However, they have a great search tool and it allows me to link you right to the deal (which Air Canadaβs own search system does not). If you would prefer to book direct with Air Canada or WestJet search for these deals on their website! This is not sponsored by tripcentral - I genuinely like their product.

A note: I picked a very specific topic today but the premium content will be all about accumulating points, optimally redeeming points, and learning how to spot good deals and opportunities. I will be covering topics for new collectors and experienced points junkies. Cheers!
Unlocking Japan with Points πΈπΎ
Japan beckons, and with the recent surge in cash prices to Asia, there's never been a better time to leverage your points. While many are shelling out top dollar for flights, savvy travellers are turning to Aeroplan partners to unlock incredible value. Why? Because these partners offer flights at a fixed rate, meaning you can jet off to Japan for a fraction of the cash price.
For instance, consider flying from Vancouver to Tokyo on ANA. For just 35K points in economy or 55K in business one-way, you're not only saving money but also experiencing a level of service that's a cut above Air Canada. These seats come available last minute and then are booked quickly but hereβs a few examples:
YVR-HND on ANA: Sept 7th, Sept 12th, July 21st 2024, and August 12th 2024.
If youβre ok with a quick connection that opens up a world of options to fly Seattle to Tokyo on ANA or San Francisco to Tokyo or Osaka on United Airlines both for 35K in economy or 55K in business (one-way). If you decide to book these MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT MIXED CABIN IS. It means that one portion of your trip WILL NOT BE IN BUSINESS CLASS. In my opinion this is ok if youβre flying YVR-SEA-HND and your YVR-SEA section is in economy (this will show 97% mixed cabin). There is actually no business class on YVR-SEA flights, so youβre really not missing out. However, I would not want a 80% or less Mixed Cabin itinerary. Here are some good options:
But if you're looking to truly elevate your travel experience, here's a gem: For those departing East of Winnipeg (Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa), consider connecting through JFK to experience ANA's "The Room" suite. With a closing door, impeccable service, and unparalleled comfort, this business class experience is available for just 75K points one-way. I've spotted some last-minute availability and will keep you updated on any new finds. These have been super rare to find lately. The best options are Toronto - New York JFK - Tokyo.

Youβre looking for something that looks like this! (Note no mixed cabin under 75.1K)
In essence, using your Membership Rewards and Aeroplan points for these redemptions not only offers fantastic value but also ensures a superior flight experience. So, why settle for less when you can fly in style to the Land of the Rising Sun?
