I featured this deal before but the date availability has changed. If you’re looking for a winter Europe trip you have lots of options! WestJet just significantly dropped prices on their Calgary → Paris route and most Western Canadian cities can take advantage!

🌐 Route: If you’re in Calgary, you are in luck! Fly direct round-trip. If not, WestJet does have great availability for flights to their hub in Calgary and you can usually find a quick layover option.

Air Canada Aeroplan Announces 25% Off Points Redemption Flights ✈️

Wow! Just after Air Canada announced a 80% bonus when buying points they piled on the value by also announcing a 25% off sale when redeeming Aeroplan points on select routes. This is great news for people looking to maximize their value when flying on points.

The Details: The 25% off sale must be booked by Sept. 29th and is only eligible on Air Canada operated flights that take place by the end of March. 📅

The Finer Details: Anyone who is familiar with points knows that the real sticking point with flying on points is finding availability. When doing my initial searching I had significant trouble finding redemptions that actually had the 25% off discount applied. 🔍

Good News: I was able to find a good amount of availability on certain routes with 25% off. I focused today’s search on Canadian business class deals - you can find routes with Air Canada’s Signature Class for 25% off on routes like Vancouver-Toronto, Calgary-Toronto, and Montreal-Vancouver (though always check the seat layout before booking the flight as the planes flying these routes do vary). 👍
